TEN offers young individuals that are passionate about education the opportunity to volunteer for 3-5 months in one of our many centers abroad!
TEN operates a global network of volunteer centers around the world.
Our primary aim is to contribute to community development through our volunteering efforts, while also facilitating personal growth among our volunteers through additional after-hour lessons and activities. Moreover, we seek to forge connections among young volunteers from Israel and the Jewish diaspora, working together to support developing populations worldwide.
TEN offers long-term volunteering programs that are tailored to individuals aged 18 to 28 who are interested in informal education. Our long-term volunteering program spans three months* and is available yearly in January, May, and September in Uganda, Ghana, Cambodia, Ethiopia, South Africa, Mexico, and Argentina** for a life-changing experience of volunteering, traveling, and learning.
*If a three-five month commitment doesn’t fit your schedule, TEN offers a 6-week program annually during the summer. You can volunteer in any of our centers (besides for our center in Israel) for six weeks!
*Our Argentina center is opening in February for two months as a pilot program!
In partnership with MASA, TEN offers a five-month program in Harduf, Israel that commences either in September or February. This extended program provides a unique opportunity for participants to engage in immersive experiences, exploring the rich culture and heritage of Israel while volunteering in a variety of different volunteering centers.

Volunteers and staff reside together in a communal house during their time with TEN. Meals, cleaning and activities are shared between volunteers and staff. Additionally, our volunteer program offers volunteers independent travel every other week so that you can explore the country you’re volunteering in!

Once our introductory call is complete, you can proceed with the payment and receive all the necessary information for the cohort you will be joining. The cost of the program includes secure accommodation, vegetarian meals, clean water, basic internet, transportation during program activities, professional staff, and participation in an ethical, high quality, volunteer program.
However, it’s important to note that the cost of the program does not include, flights, vaccines, health insurance, visas, and free weekends.
